Private and commercial commissions welcome, 20 years of experience, many through repeat trade and recommendation.

Gift vouchers are available on request.

I can work from good photographs sent to me, though I prefer to take my own photos and sketches if possible.
If there is enough information I can alter angles, viewpoints, omit or add details as required.
The composition, dimensions, season, weather and light conditions, colour and other details are all discussed and agreed prior to beginning work.

Given the details and proportions you require I am able to estimate the number of hours needed to complete your painting.
At this point a timetable and price can be agreed.

I charge £30 per hour and the quoted price will include mounting and postage if required. A non-refundable deposit of 20% is to be paid in advance.
When your painting is complete and approved the balance is then due. I can deliver locally or by secure post.

All enquiries welcome and considered. Contact me directly for a prompt personal service, all estimates are free of charge.

Some of my varied past commissions have been from beloved cars and homes to landscapes and portraits.

Work undertaken is not shown here for privacy reasons.

You can watch some of my process as I was a competing artist in episode 12 of the BBC1 art programme in April.

The new BBC1 series ‘Home Is Where The Art Is’, presented by Nick Knowles, brought you 45 artists from across the country working in different mediums. Over 15 episodes three artists were competing to produce a commission for a ‘mystery buyer’.
I took part in episode 12 which aired on Tuesday 23rd April BBC1 at 3.45 pm.
The series started on 8th April. and my episode can be viewed on Daily Motion, just click on the link.

The response has been phenomenal !!!

There was a lot more conversation involved with Charlotte which was not shown, we discussed in detail just exactly how we could compromise on the frame to make room in the budget for time to paint the extra details that she wanted. I know that she is really happy with the result and she has kindly allowed me to add a little snippet of the peacock window detail.
